Hi Murray
Prior to your race there is a warmup bench where you can use a spektrum / dsm style radio system stationary on the bench.
The main reason for this rule is to stop toy cars from being driven in the carpark.
There is also a green grass strip on the far side of the on road car park that is generally used
prior to start of racing.
