I'm going to test your camber gain theory this weekend with the plastic B4 hubs to see if you're right.
That said, I couldn't stand the truck when I shortened the rear links with the stock huibs.
The link positioning has a lot less to do with camber gain when compared with link length. With the 8mm mod the link is mounted 8mm above the inside hole on the stock hub because of how the holes are located on the carbon piece. Basically you have to run a shorter link and you end up with more camber gain.
