speed control on the reedy was an xp digital sc700-BL, had to switch over to a mamba max pro for the tekin because its sensored. esc was set to give the motor as much juice as possible on both setups.

Well, I went to the track the other day to test this new tekin/MMP setup. the track was the exact same layout, carpet with jumps, as the last time i ran the reedy/sc700, and the truck was setup the same. with the new motor esc setup I notice significantly less torque and overall power and my lap times were a few seconds slower. everyone else noticed my truck was not running as fast as it used to. had to gear down a bit to get up to speed fast enough to hit some of the jumps out of the corners
so the question is, should I be getting this result, or is the tekin bad? the esc performs fine with other motors attached in other vehicles so im pretty sure thats not the issue. do I need to just step up the a 10.5 motor?
What are you settings on the MMP? Since the Reedy is 3300kv and a tekin 13.5t is 3500kv they should be geared about the same and should have close to the same power. Sensorless motors are more efficient and I believe kv to kv a sensorless motor should have a little more power and torque than that of a sensored but not enough to warrant a major noticeable difference. Also motors dont last forever, used motors will decrease over time due to the rotor losing its strength. This might be the case if you are running correct settings on esc and cant seem to locate another issue
