a couple of years ago, there really was only one or maybe 2 ESCs that were noticeably quicker in boosted classes. Now there are quite a few that I would consider equal. They just have slight differences in the feel and some differences in the names of the settings and the ways they are applied.
Tekin - RS & RS Pro
ORCA - Vritra VTC Pro spec Mk.II & Vritra VX
Hobbywing - Xerun v3
Orion - Vortex R10
I'm sure there's a few others as well that I'm forgetting, but all the above are top of the heap for boosted (if running their latest firmware)
As for motors, there are far more motors that work well than ones that don't. I don't think any one particular motor stands out as being way better for boosted. There are definitely a few that are faster for blinky though.
