With the 4.0 fdr now i can use full power to get down the straight, iam not loosing much down the straight against a trinity revtech running max timing and also 4.0 fdr. Would it be better to run a higher FDR like 4.4 and run more motor timing to get more acceleration out of the turn?
Oh yeah...I thought if you are running 4.0 you must be indoor carpet...I have 2 current setup for indoor carpet....35* timing (yellow board) with 4.0 final or 41* timing (blue board) with 4.2 final....I myself (personal skill factor.....slow driver) has better average laptime with 35* timing and 4.0 final setup....the faster SP drivers with better skill run the higher timing 41* with 4.0 to 4.2 final setup....I just cannot handle that extra speed on tight high traction carpet track.
