Default Re: Modded motors running lean?

those modified engines should be running little bit on the rich side of lsn, so that there is enough fuel to supply to the hsn. Also, in turn the fuel would cool off the engine; hence, you can lean it more--just not too much, or you risk damage your engine.

Is it common for modded motors to run lean on the bottom?
I recently modded my omega and it runs great, as long as i run it super lean on the bottom end. If I try to richen it up at all on the bottom it wont run for anything.
My buddy has a JP modded NS3 and it does the same thing. is this common?
