I would say not the same difference for any product that comes out of those countries. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some die hard German car fan boy... I drive a 500 HP Subaru that costs a fraction of the cost of an M3.
But I will take a German or Japanese product any day over something from China.

Also, to note, I run tekin products and am happy with them. I did not mention China, just that tenshock is a German company and their kick a** motor is only $90.
I saw that too. Fun times with their copyrights and duplicate cars that China doesn't care about and won't hold copyright laws. This is prime example why I won't buy that shotty quality, shotty controlled, shotty recased garbage. You're buying stuff that they ripped off someone else. If you're proud that you're taking money away from German, American, and so on - Companies. Be my guest.
(this has nothing to do with everything being made in China. They sell the plans given to them by tekin and LRP and remake the item cheaper with far less quality control.)

Course, I'm singing to a wall, so it doesn't matter.
