I count up from the bottom since I cut my body posts. I'm running a Method Hellcat body and it's up 3 holes in the front and rear.

You can shoe goo around the vents after cutting them out. Not a lot, just a little for strength. Or I like the packaging tape with the filament in it for reinforcement. Then when I apply it, I'll use the wife's hair dryer and heat it up and press on it to make it stick real good. You have to do this before it touches dirt for best results.
A little tip on cut outs. Make sure all corners are rounded off. Never leave them square. Having square corners will give the body a weak point when it's flexing.
I always like it cut out for when I jump nose high. If I'm carrying speed, your still creating some kind of force (wind) with the velocity of the truck in motion. So it's still beneficial.
