I start by pinching the ring and feeding a corner of it into the slot inside the collar. You will then have one section of the ring in the slot and the other side sticking out. I put my finger over the other side to prevent it from coming out the other end. Does not seem like it will fit, but I just keep stuffing in one section at a time moving around the collar and it eventually seats itself inside the collar.
Once the ring is inside the collar I take a little dab of grease and rub it around the ring inside the collar. If you don't, it will be difficult to thread onto the shock because the rubber will grab the collar.
I ended up figuring out it was just stretched because i moved onto the other 3 orings and they went in real easy.I was able to get the one in but it wouldnt twist onto the body because it just wouldn't set into the collar right oh well orings are cheap. But thanks anyways
