I've found a lil trick that has helped out a lot no chassis slap and everything fits tight i use a thin sheet of foam and cut it out in the shape of the under tray and cut it a lil smaller than it and i use the stock screw hole to mount the under tray and and there is no need to tape it fits snug and keeps the chassis completely clean and no damage or residue at all might help you out just something i tried and i run on an 1/8 scale track with some huge jumps works perfect
