The carbon bridge does fit into the v2 steering. I've got it in mine, but I felt I needed to get extra flanged bearings to mirror the ones supplied. If I built my car again though I wouldn't bother with it, instead would just go for the carbon reinforced parts and some bearings instead. I don't think the there's much if any advantage of having the carbon linkage. If anyone wants to see a picture of how it's installed then let me know and I'll pull my chassis brace off and take a photo.
