No, the stock rear shaft is steel, I just built mine using the shaft/diff assembly from my 104 pro... I'm a bit of a Collin Chapman fan: Light light light... And I'd rather place any extra weight exactly where I want it. Extra rotating mass is not quite a favorite of mine.
