A lot of people i know run the JC chassis tape and it doe not slap. I run the under tray also and it slaps every now and than and i running the same oil. So if you want to reduce the slap i recommend you try the AE chassis tape or the JC Chassis tape. Enjoy
It still slaps (chassis hits the ground) but you just dont hear it. Try some servo tape on all four corners with the tray.. Quiets the slapping considerably. As far as the car bottoming out. Always has and always will off big jumps.
I mean c'mon the ride height is what 20mm or 21mm? not exactly loads of clearance.
