You're going to pay more for less. With the Serpent you dont need any hopups, you need all kinds of lightweight option with the xray. Plus its all old tech, nobody else uses plastic bulkheads anymore. Get the Serpent and you wont regret it. But hey, its your money, spend it how you like it.
P.S. And no, the Serpent is stronger than the Xray.
