Exactly. I'm not sure I would want fulltime frontwheel drive with no slipper. Braking would be very strong which would require significant tuning. It would be worth the money to try it out to see.

I have the VTS slipper with stock pads for now and want a center diff. I just can't understand why a slipper was planned for this car unless AE will be using this platform for all 10th scale models. I would love to have a new SC10 2wd mid motor based on this kit. I torn down the slipper this weekend and after one pack there is witness of slippage on all pads. I had tightened the spring all the way down and backed off 1/8th turn and it was slipping way too much. I think I need a new spring.

I decided to keep my SC10 4x4 in tact and get the RCShox V2 dif for it.
