Lipos in general honestly dont care how fast you charge them though charging/discharging them hard will reduce the longevity of the battery (not significaly from my experiance) the issue comes with the internal resistance of the pack and the thickness of the wires causeing the pack (or the wires) to get hot. Keep an eye on the battery the first time you charge it and slow the rate if it or the wires get noticeably warmer than when you normally charge them. If they dont get any warmer you're good
Thanks for the reply...Yeah this is a gravity hobby lipo and it does have 12g wires on it. I'll give it a try @ 5amps instead of 2.2 amps and see what happens. I just wanted to be sure just in case. On the back side of the battery it doesn't say anything about the charge rate other than not to discharge below 7.4v and no more than 8.4v. This battery is being ran in my new mini-8ight if that helps any.
