Dude,

The main thing is that there are other good engine choices out their other than the stock RTR Kyosho engines. If you have a particular engine manufacturer that you are comfortable with, see if they make an engine that will fit your car and suit your needs. I would hate to see you waste monies on a Kyosho RTR engine that will fail early.
