Revtech/Epic needs to work on their quality control. Ordered a 4800 motor to try out. When it came in at the hobby shop, I found that the motor has a 1/8" shaft, instead of the 5mm shaft that they are supposed to have. The part number on the box was correct for the 5mm shaft version. Epic obviously built the motor with the wrong rotor. Good thing I already had a bore reducer to use my mod1 pinions on my 4wd SCT. So, buyer beware!
i hate these kind of posts. they didn't make the wrong motor. the motor was just put in the wrong box. it happens. now all of a sudden there's a company wide QC issue with a "buyer beware" warning? give me a break...
