You're in good hands at Charlie's track. Its not super competitive unless everyone wants it to be that way. Often its quite laid back. Guys are more interested in battling it out than just running away with the lead.
Having enough traction to run through the track at a decent pace is a must. Not having traction and fighting the car all day is no fun. I know because I've been there.
Good sized wing, tires that grip, a body that works, and a fairly decent setup on your suspension will get you there. Stick with diffs all around if thats what you have. No need for front oneways.
