I heard from a guy who told a guy that knows a friend of mine that told me that the more shotkkey (sp) diods you run, the better the breaking and you will actually have an increase in drive frequency. I run three normal sized ones wired together on the motor. I race off road stock and rarely use the brakes, but I do feel the increased frequency....it feels a little smoother....maybe its just me though.
