Got front blue springs on the rear and raised rear camber links has got me feeling like it's a whole new truck.
Same here!! Im loving it again too

- My center mounted battery helped little to none outdoors. Indoors I noticed it.
- The center Diff V1 and 2 are great, but it doesn't Overpower the other things i'm trying to fix.
- My truck DRIVES great, Indoors. I don't need to calm the rear, blah blah.
It's all about how it's reacting outside, the track: no matter how much I do to the shocks and geometry, It doesn't want to stay put, Everyone comments how it looks like it's dancing around on it's tiptoes and not planted into the dirt. Some guys drive it and love it, they like the nimble feel. I get it, but i'm having to rethink my style to even stay in other trucks and get around the track "properly".
My Slash 4x4 LCG literally does circles around my Sc10. I've gone to leaving my Sc10 4 at home the last 3 weeks, truly. I want to figure it out. But I'm on my second "burnt out" phase with the truck I think.
(I'm expecting comments about not tuning correctly and that's fine)
Food for thought Sean and it some things to think about
:
Tires, i have noticed that with my SS blockades although they have great grip but ballon to about 10" in diameter! well if you think about it when you go into a turn they get smaller again and that makes weight transfer do all kinda crazy stuff, seeing that the truck is light i think it is more obvious. this weekend i am going to buy a set of Losi tires (they are cheap and work well here) and strap them to see if it helps. i do notice that the truck is more planted with other tires but the blockades are the worst!
You have an extra set of V2 pistons, take the rear rebound set drill them to 1.3 and go up to 32.5 in the rear, keep the shocks mounted on the inside arm hole.
