Just to address some of the pricing concerns, we tried to make it as competitive as possible on the price. But being a smaller company means our costs are much higher. Our costs are also higher because of the materials we use.

Think of how durable our aftermarket parts are compared to the materials other manufacturers put in their kits. Now think of a whole kit that is made of the highest quality materials and it starts to add up.

If we had gone the cheaper route for our first buggy and the quality suffered as a result, a lower price doesn't really matter at that point.

What makes this buggy stand out? As it was mentioned we really do have more experience with 1/8th electric than any manufacturer. It's our specialty and we have propelled the class. With all of the 'standard' buggies out there, we decided it was time to design our own car with the best features possible. We've built almost every buggy, driven almost every buggy, paid attention to what they did right and what could be improved upon. The EB48 is the result.

Pulse, I will talk with the distributors there. They are getting the same prices as distributors here and with the conversion rate (EU>USD), there's no reason the price should be so high. Sure there is shipping, but distributors here pay shipping too. If they are selling for $680USD, and the kit is available here for $550, I'm positive that it doesn't cost $130 to ship each kit .
