To me at least, its the natural progression of where things should be at as far as single pack shaft based design.
After owning a Hyper 9E once and seeing how much better my vehicle handled without the weight of the battery not as close to the centerline, it definitely was something I wanted in a future vehicle which Tekno did an excellent job in conversion wise with the V4.
I guess I feel they took the idea and other great ones they had and ran with it.
If single lipo setups are you thing, I think you found your vehicle in the Tekno.
Next thing that will be interesting to see if if they run with this layout into a 4wd SCT.
On one video I saw, they mentioned that they had plans to use it for other platforms. I'm sure they will do a truggy, and I really hope they do an SCT especially since it sounds like getting it down to the same weight as the Losi SCTE isn't much of a problem.
