I got to see an evader Bx run in the 19T spec buggy class on my vacation against a field of Losi's and AE vehicles ( BK2s, Bks, and B4s, 1 JRX2 I think ) and it was holding its own. The owner of the vehicle just needs to do a tear down and clean it up good as it was kind of crunchy in the tranny but as far as track handling it did ok.
I think that if you are serious about racing, you may want another vehicle, but if you want to have a vehicle that is different than everyone else but you want to race, I would look into parts that improve handling or drop weight .
I am not sure if any of this is out, but duratrax looks to make graphite parts and I would start there. You can also look into a set of better shocks, I think losi ones will fit. I also have seen guys put on losi arms on there STs. not sure how much mod it needed but they seemed to work well.
