They won't fall out, but when they get worn and gritty....lets just say, when they go, they go! little balls, retaining rings and internal pieces will spill out everywhere. When you're tunning with one or no shields, you have to be very conscious to keep them oiled because there's nothing holding the oil in there. However, the benefits are much greater than with two sheilds.
