Looking at getting my first 1/8 scale buggy(Durango DEX408). The world of the larger ESC and motors is new to me. Looking at the Xerun ESCs should I just go with the 150a to make sure I have everything I need? I will be racing on a good sized outdoor track running 4s against nitro and other electric buggies. I have been looking at getting the Xerun 15a combo with the 1800 or 2250 sensored motor. I want something very reliable. nothing worse then the car not working right when you turn it on.

You have 2 choices to run a sensored or sensorless system... they make a smaller footprint SC8 which is a sensorless esc rated at 150a and the 2250 is more than enough power to push any 8th scale buggy.... I found that in my losi the 150a blue esc was just a bit too big but the sc8 fits great.... If you want the feel of a sensored system then the only choice is the 150a blue system roughly around $200 which is great and they run like tanks!!!
