Jspeed, it would help if you followed the original request, or copied what Tabushi wrote. There are two existing threads on RCTech for discussions about the past, photos, and so on. It would be better if people just modified whatever has been posted earlier in this thread, by leaving everything in the first part as-is if you agree with it, and if you disagree, posting your revised rule suggestion, along with the rule suggestion you don't agree with, in a new response here.
For example, I included under "generally accepted rules":
Pipe: any pipe
If you think it would be better to say something like:
Pipe: only kit pipes
....then move the existing "rule" along with your proposed revised rule so both are listed under "unresolved rules".
I can do this for a day or so, but I'm hoping others will take over. All that's needed is <copy> and <paste> and sorting things out the way you feel is best a single class of GT racing for the initial rules.
The goal isn't really to come up with a finished list accepted by everyone. Rather, it's to find what the sticking points are, that people seem to be disagreeing on.
