Yea I have an 8.5 as well and it doesn't seem to have a bunch of bottom, I ran a dualsky 7.5T on my 22 24/76 and that thing pulls hard and never temps over 150! I am gonna start my buggy off stock and then eventually switch to mod..I may run the 8.5 in favor of the softer bottom..
