I have a 44t spur and a 25t pinion on a MMM 2200kv motor. Is that ideal for a short course or what should I change it to to make my car run efficient and less stress on my motor. Thanks!
When I ran my RC8B converted to electric at a fairly small indoor track with a Tekin 1700 I was using the spur that came with the conversion kit and like a 15 or a 16 tooth pinion. 25 is probably WAY to high for even larger tracks. I would start around a 16 tooth for the 2200. Keep in mind that that motor is going to be RIPPING fast for a small track.
