You might of overscrewed the 2 screws that end up upside down. You can turn off your radio and adjust those screws but turning left/right with the servo OFF.

Maybe use a little locktight since it's metal to metal and keep the screw loose enough so it won't bind?

Thanks guys! I took the assembly apart and put it back together. Runs smooth now. I have to say, I can already tell the avid rack is far superior then the stock steering assembly. No slop at all and the steering looks to be more responsive.
