I agree that the V2 style motors are a step ahead when it comes to comm wear and brush life.....but when you run a super low wind all done up with hard springs and sprint compound brushes...which is what you have to do to be on pace with the other brand motors in a big race......most of the top guys and team drivers are still cutting their comms every couple to a few runs at the "least" because the power does drop off to a certain extent....it even says 4 to 6 runs on the package of sprint brushes and it's even less on low wind motors with hard springs being used in a touring car........My point is that when your comm needs to be cut is different for every motor combo and application.....
