I just picked up an old Speedmerchant WGT and I'm looking for a setup for it. I've noticed that the newer WGT cars all have the inline battery moved forward. The car I have is the first WGT version with the battery crosswise in the rear of the chassis.
Is there a significant advantage with the battery weight moved forward? If so, can it be compensated by shifting the elecyronics as forward as possible on my chassis?
One more thing, the car has the Speedmerchant multi-link front end. Can someone tell me how to check caster on it without having to use a setup station?
