no i am not trying to penilize teh brushles users by making them run 1 vehicle. if geared right you can get 10+min out of the pack and at teh end of race be around 100-120 for temp. this is why we have a practice before race. to get your gearing and batery times down. i was geared at a 14p/86s in my XXXTMF and came off after entire race at 115. (the winner was runnig a 15p and came of at low 120's) I was also getting around 11min a pack average.

My main concern is the there should never be any replacement truck/car for any breakage. If the truck breaks it need to be repaired and then put back out.
this is mainly pointed at multi car teams(normal motor team) because a brushless team cant run more than 1 car, if they break they have to fix before running more. Multi car teams cannot put a diferent truck out untill the broken one is fixed. NO IF's AND's OR BUT's. this levels out.

Battery changes should be made on at least one truck if you are switching trucks to let the motor cool. e.g. you can't just have your next truck all ready to go and throw it out immediately. You must do a battery change on either the old truck or the new truck.
here is where the all vehicles must be o same channel comes in. your gonna have to turn off 1 radio or truck first. and the same body must be used on all teh trucks. like i posted above those rules are not final and will change. this also levels out because it take time to plug in teh new truck and put the body from the first truk onto the second one.

Which brings me to my last point. I assume the ONLY, let me repeat ONLY ONLY reason you are allowing multiple backup vehicles is to allow old tech brushed motors to cool down. Not for some advantage of being able to make a quick pit stop or repair by switching vehicles.
that is the only reson is because after 1 or 2 packs a brushed motor will be to hot and will need a cool down period so as not to ruin the motor. here again the brushles gearing comes into play. get teh gearing right and no need to cool down. leveled out

Also what is the definition of flashlight? Something the emits light?
Can I have a high power LED that draws power from the main pack as my "flashlight"?
yes you can use a hp led. but id suggest using a small slave pack. like a reciever pack from a nitro car(ths will keep teh weight from a led and a normal small flachlight about teh same). BUT it has to be on vehicle the entire race. same goes for the normal flashlight.NO IF's AND's OR BUT's.

I don't understand #5 either. "Personal transponders are at the race directors decision." This sounds suspiciously like somebodies getting ready to penalize those who have personal transponders.
we are not trying to penalize anyone. for the last 2 races we had we all used teh track transponders. the main reason is again teh multi car teams.(we have nothing against you) here is the reason, you cant run 2 diferent pt's on the same team it wont register them as the same team but 2 different ones. so a pt may only be used on a single car. or if there is a problem with a track transponder. then a pt may be alowed if the race directod says its needed.

Something you missed to even things out. No 3600 mAh cells. Come to think of it all I have is some old 1200s. So no 3300s, no 3000s, no 2400s, no 2200s, no 2000s, no 1800s and no 1500s. And no lithium packs! Just to make things fair. Or we could just have manditory pit stops every 2 minutes.
ok here you may have a problem. answer get on a team with enuf good packs to cover. we found that bare minimum for a team was 7 packs( my team was runnign 3, 3000 and 4, 3300. with this your putting the last one in teh truck the same time your pulling the first one off the charger. and there will be no litiums or 3600. NO IF's AND's OR BUT's

Hopefully everybody has moved on from the old tech brushed and we won't even have to worry about these little annoyances.
i hope so. but there will most likely be someone running brushed.

I hope this cleares this up a bit and when the form has been passed i will put this post on the back of the sighn up sheet. to help clear stuff up more.
