Only when I had the aluminum bearing supports...... Another great example of unnecessary metal parts- I found that when the suspension is fully compressed the drive shaft forces the outdrive inward and breaks the bearing. Aluminum rear hubs with also dramatically reduce the life of the bearing too, mainly because the plastic parts are flexible and absorb much of the impact.
