hi im also newbie to me ive tried 1/8 nitro from monster truck, to buggy n truggy
and lol not friendly for beginners lol
do switch to 1/8 EP also tried all didnt like it
now i went to 1/10 EP for beginners like me
i went to truggy the hyper 10TT or hyper sc10
this 2 models for me are very sturdy.
parts easily obtained at swan models orchard plaza.
juz my 2cents bro. wasted alot money so ill stick to 1/10 haha
juz spend abit for batts get those hardcase type
and 4 batts is enuf if ur bashing n just having fun
