By less steering is that turning radius or the responsiveness?
I believe it's going to translate to responsiveness. On my truck the steering will easily go all the way left and right to the point the steering spindle will hit the front arm. As a matter of fact I set my the steering end point to something slightly less than 100%. So, I am getting the same turning radius regardless of the position on the steering rack.
I generally make adjustments to responsiveness through both the position on the steering rack (previously used ACKBAR) and the dual rate settings. Certainly there are other changes that can impact steering such as the differential fluid you run, but I know you already know that part as you have been on this forum for a while.
