from my experience with one-way in voner if you brake hard and your chassis is not perfectly balanced you will slide to one side. If you do not dial your brakes down you will slide. With foam tires and a light rear diff instead of solid rear I don't see where you need to use the brakes with a one-way except when you come into the pits!
