The 1251 is more than plenty for TC.

Could be a sloppy saver, could be a sloppy tolerance build up of linkages (ball and socket wear and tear), could be a set up issue.

Are you running any toe out or toe in? Toe neutral tends to be a little wandery, and a little toe out with some slop in the linkage system can really wander all over the road and make the car dart all over.
