Depending on tires and the track conditions, tire warmers may not be necessary. None of the mod guys used tire warmers at the nats at Jackson last year. I would say its 50/50 if you need them or not.
It is like any form of racing. Good to have the warmers in your bag just in case.
Depends on a lot of factors. I would rather have them than not. If someone gets to a race just starting to figure out whether they should have brought them then it is too late.
