I'm running a clutch basket. I tighten the screw all the way down then back off about 1 turn. I was skeptical about this adjustment, but it's the way the local fast guy does it.
How are you guys adjusting your clutches?
Is breaking idlers a normal thing? Or did I cause pre-mature wear due to my adjustment?

And if anyone is keeping track, going down in shock oil weight made my truck land a lot nicer.
You cannot adjust your clutch the way someone else does, no two are the same and its a fine line between stripping a gear and the proper setting. He could have a V1 or V2 spring or even a brand new spring will adjust differently.Always start loose and adjust to make it tight never the opposite and test on the track. Tires make a difference too, if you have stickier tires than him it can also cause failure. Best bet is to install a set of Garodisc with your basket and let it slip like it is supposed to.
