You won't have to modify anything to run those shocks...all you have to do is run a longer front upper shock mount screw which would go from a 3/4" to a 7/8", and then put on a 2mm spacer before the bushing and you are done..
that sounds like a modification to me, but if you look at maifield and cavs cars they have the tower modified so they dont change the shock angle.
