Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting here. I just bought a Losi 22 and after driving it for about 5min in my backyard the throttle just stopped working. I took it inside and noticed that the steering still works. The motor was still cool but the ESC was hot to the touch. I just bought this car and this was my first run.

The battery I'm using is a Traxxas 7 cell 4200Mah 8.4v battery that the hobby store employee recommended

I was driving the car on flat grass, I'm from Canada, so the grass was still packed down from the snow. Also, The car was in half throttle mode. My backyard is pretty small, so I wasn't even able to reach full throttle.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking of sending it in for repairs and I'm wondering if the ESC is covered by the warranty. I know the ESC is dead because I took it to the shop where I bought it and they tested it.
