Well I bought an SC10 2wd with a Velineon set-up from a member here. Going to try my hand at racing. I will ask my LHS about set-up for their track as they should know that best but I did want to see if there are any recommendations on must have parts or when I break a certain part what I should upgrade it with. You didn't mention if you had a FT version or not, or what parts yours came with, but there seem to be a few favorites for upgrading. Find out what tires are the hot ticket for your track. That'll make the biggest difference in handling. I think getting the adjustable rear arm mounts are very helpful. They're not much money, and allow you to adjust rear toe-in and antisquat. A decent metal geared servo, ball bearings in the bell cranks, and a glued servo saver are big improvements, too.
