Hey Myron, one other thing that we all learned from this race is that the Top 3 finishers were all running 100% U.S. VTA legal cars. The 4th place finisher had a Tekin RS Pro in his car. That just goes to show that winning in VTA is all about driver skill. We always have guys at our track ask "why can't I use my Tekin or Castle Mamba Pro speed control?" Simple answer is because it's not in the USVTA rules. I believe that ROAR is obligated to allow a wider selection of speedos because they can't show bias towards one (or 3) manufacturer of ESC's. Let the race results show that the Top 3 VTA champions at the ROAR Carpet Nationals all used a Novak Edge ESC (how's that for a plug NovakTwo?).
I actually had my lrp sxx v2 TC spec speedo in all weekend, but it was a Novak Ballistic motor.
