The hotbodies dcj fit without modification in the 6.1. Same With the BD5 Spec-R dcj.

Both require the use of Tamiya, Yokomo, or Hotbodies hexes. 5mm will get you stock hex spacing.

If you're running the 3-3.5mm front arm spacing you will need to put a 1mm shim under the spool cup with the Hotbodies dcj.

AE blades can be drilled to fit the HB dcj or you can use the HB blade. The AE blades can be used as is with the Spec-R dcj.

I have used both, the HB joints are the stronger of the two, but a set of Spec-Rs are not much more than 1 HB dcj and are easier to rebuild. I have run the Spec-Rs on carpet with a boosted 5.5 without issue.
