Any time you start replacing plastic parts with aluminum, the forces that are exerted on your car are going to be transferred to a new location during an impact. When I replaced my plastic steering linkage with the STRC units, I also replaced the servo horn with an aluminum one. Where the stresses are relieved now is at the steering knuckle. To me, that's a bit easier to replace than the steering bellcranks or the even the servo horn. Getting at the horn can be troublesome.
