Bypass 1 looks to be a different approach to a variable damping piston (VDP) shock.
I’ve been using the VDPistons in 1/8 scale shocks for a few years with good results but it took a lot of experimenting to get them to respond the way I wanted.
Bypass 1 appears to be easier to setup with a lot more options.
