TSR6: the price of the cells was really the only cost I had to build the pack, so I consider it a good investment.

My radio dumped on me the first time I tried practicing with it.(I don't think I left it on the slow charger long enough) In any case, I watched it go from 10.8v, down to beeping, in just over an hour. I wasn't happy!(It was on almost constantly because I had three different cars I was practicing with)

So I decided then that I didn't want to take a chance on race days. Especially when I race on Sat. night, then again on Sun morning, and I don't feel like recharging the radio, y'know.

So like I said, its a matter of peice of mind.
