I hear ya on the "out the Yang" for some of these batteries. Do you know off hand if the FT saddle strap setup is the same as Mantis' or will it only fit the 4800mah size saddle packs?
You can go to gens ace and get the dimensions of the battery and maybe see in the manual (available online rc10.com) to see if they'll fit with the factory saddle girdle.
They aren't too tall where they won't clear the belt cover. It should work.
Call up AE and speak to Chris Jaroz he might know off the top of his head.
I forgot I had a copy of the FT manual here, it looks like you can adjust the height of the battery strap. Look at page 39 of the FT manual.
