Is it possible to add boost and or timing to a non-sensored motor via the ESC? Is there a good ESC that has plenty of configuration options that will run both a sensored and a non-sensored motor? I'll probably stick with a 2S battery but I'd like to be able to run as much motor as I might choose to some day.

Thanks in advance.
You CANNOT add boost to a sensorless motor. You can run Timing through a programmable esc tho. I recommend a Hobbywing 60a esc. Lots of tuning features, you can get the LED program box that is so simple to use without a computer. They run around $65 on www.Hobbypartz.com I beleive. I have had Castle, Tekin, Hobbywing...they are all good just if your wanting to save money with a quality esc Id go Hobbywing.
